Quick Weekend Escape

How wonderful to be able to drive for an hour and a half out of Chicago and be in a beautiful area of greenery, some beaches, water, and great wineries!

we spent a good part of Sunday driving and exploring new wineries in different towns in southwestern Michigan.  Amazingly sophisticated and almost Napa Valley like in appearances and taste!  Music on a balcony overlooking hilly vistas added to the experience!

Walks on the beach, looking at all the gorgeous Lake Homes, late night dinners and walks for ice cream

Most importantly— a respite from the rain!
